- G'day...

-
- Correction. This DOES work with the number keys as it isn't doing any
- VT102 sequences. The problem is that is it's layed out for IBM or PC
- (and C128) keyboard number keys:
-
- .
- / \
- |
- 7 | | 9
- Top | 8 | Pg UP
- ____|_____|_____
- | |
- <--- 4 | 5 | 6 --->
- _____|_____|______
- | |
- 1 | 2 | 3
- End | | | Pg DOWN
- `.'
-
-
- These numbers can be used even with the C64 with Novaterm 9.5 -- but
- it's a bit more difficult to remember which one does what. I use a
- chart, and just use the four main keys that save me a lot of time:
-
- 1 End
- 7 Top
- 3 Page Down
- 9 Page Up
-
- BTW, even if you have numbers act as arrows selected in lynx, you can
- still use the cursor keys.

-
- This seems to act different with various versions of Lynx. Mine moves
- the page so that the word(s) I've searched for end up as the TOP line
- on the screen.
-
- BB> of Commodore related links and files, from my home page:

- BB> lynx http://www.fn.net/~tron
-
- I'll check it out. :-)
-
- BB> You type the above at your command line, and the ~ symbol is
- BB> supposed to be a tilde character. NovaTerm gives you this as
- BB> Shift-Uparrow/Pi (the key with an up arrow and the Pi symbol on
- BB> it). DesTerm is the same, or use Shift-Equals. I think Ace is
- BB> Shift-Uparrow/Pi also.
-
- Repeated for benefit of those who need the info. Also, you can type
- %7E instead of the tilde key, too. Your URL would look like:
-
- http://www.fn.net/%7Etron
-
- And the underscore (_) is %5F, so my URL without tildes or the
- underscore would be:
-
-
- http://www.msen.com/%7Ebrain/guest/Gaelyne%5FMoranec
-
- BB> Have fun!
-
- Always!! :-)
